Bringing it Back
For those of you folks who have ever been interested in Bittersweet Dream, myself and Steven would like to apologize for the lack of updates and shows within the past 4-5 months. On the brighter side of things, now that we are back and working again, we have some great ideas and goals for the upcoming months...
*Bittersweet has only had 1 really gratifying product. Only 1 product that has been hand made by us and only 1 product that has sold with the name Bittersweet Dream on it. That would of coarse be our sketchbooks which we sold out of quickly. This product meant a lot to us because of its recycled/dumpstered material. This has given us the idea to publish short stories in the same fashion. Soon I will update pictures of an example we made just recently, and go into more detail of the recyled books. But in the mean time, if anybody is looking to publish work, please get a hold of us and we will do everything in our power to print up some books for you!
*Bittersweet has a new artist that will be put up on the site this week sometime. Rikki is a very talented artist in many different fields. Please check out the
artists page within the week and keep an eye out for her.

*I personally plan on working with Bryan Clifford towards a show to promote Ourselves and Bittersweet Dream. There are no set dates because we need to do a ton more work... but so far so good! This painting below was done in 4 stages. We both worked on it twice with myself finishing it.

*As soon as the weather starts to turn and things start getting warmer, BSD is going to try and start some community building excercises in Rochester. Possibilities include, really really free market, critical mass, reclaim the streets, public workshops, festivals... etc. If anybody has any ideas, regarding something they would like to participate in, or teach, please drop us a line... kyle@bittersweetdream.org
Other than these few things, we are going to continue to brainstorm and get everything set up for the spring season. We are looking for art and writing! The future of Bittersweet Dream is to provide the resources to publish the work of our community. So with that in mind, if you have any ideas on things to compile into a book format let us know and we will all work together to publish such ideas.
